Our Human Resources team is growing!
In conjunction with HR and other business units, the HRIS Analyst administers Workday systems and processes to ensure effective operations. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for assisting with questions, troubleshooting issues, researching configurations, and acting as project manager for new releases and other cross enterprise projects.
The HRIS Analyst manages and administers the Workday system for the HR team, to ensure a clean tenant, maintain security permissions, liaise between business units, and serve as the first person to assist with any and all Workday issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer Workday systems and processes.
- Analyze, test, implement and support HR tools, applications and systems.
- Work closely with all stakeholders and perform audits to ensure accurate data and system integrity.
- Document, implement and monitor HRIS systems security and processes.
- Manages, permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for users.
- Serves as liaison between HR, IT, Finance, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS projects.
- Manages integrations to ensure accuracy and fulfillment. Partnering with functional leads when errors are presented to find resolution.
- Build and run ad-hoc reports as requested by business partners.
- Work with vendors to troubleshoot and escalate issues as necessary.
- Plan and develop processes, reports, and automation.
- Enhances the WD experience for end users through the use of dashboards, reporting and training.
- Promote quality, compliance management, and process improvements using the various tools and guidance.
- Perform HR system testing for system implementations, upgrades, patches, and enhancements, including bi-annual Workday releases.
- Collaborates with HRIS team members and other HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions, including completing appropriate system configurations.
- Organize and oversee HR systems related projects. Build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.
- Provide employee support to research and troubleshoot non-routine HR system issues, including creating and monitoring service requests with software vendors and consultants, as required.
- Promotes quality, compliance management, and process improvements using the various tools and guidance.
- Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members.
Education, Requirements & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree; 3+ years of experience working in a HCM System, at least 1 year of Workday experience required.
- Workday certifications (i.e. HCM, Security, Benefits, Time, Absence, Payroll, etc.) a plus.
- Possesses high degree of knowledge of Workday reporting.
- Strong technical skills as it relates to an enterprise data management system.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and trustworthiness.
- Ability to think outside the box to solve complex problems.
- A team spirit and cooperative attitude, professional and pleasant demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
