Overview
Calling all Workday HRIS experts! Krause Group’s HRIS team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Workday HRIS Consultant to join our team.
As the HRIS Consultant, you’ll use your advanced knowledge and experience in Workday to monitor, maintain, and implement appropriate changes, configuration, and processes within Workday. Our HRIS Consultant will bring cross-functional Workday knowledge, advanced knowledge in security, reporting, integrations, and transformations.
The fun stuff
The Krause Group HRIS Consultant will lead projects, work directly with other teams and leaders throughout Krause Group, work autonomously, make decisions on the system, voice guidance for the HRIS team and other teams, lead the Workday system forward for Krause Group, and be viewed and respected as the Workday expert.
What you’ll do
- Consult and guide teams regarding Workday to ensure goals and projects are supported
- Oversee complex projects including the development of project plans, rollout schedules, communications, and change management
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Grow People (HR) and other departments within Krause Group
- Maintain data integrity of Workday by preforming audits and troubleshooting, and develop audit and research processes
- Perform regular system maintenance including but not limited to updates, system configurations, integration development and support, etc.
- Assist with ongoing system improvements and additional technology implementation
What we’re looking for
- Extensive background and experience in Workday; preferred module experience in HCM, benefits, payroll, compensation, absence, recruiting, learning, and talent
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Experience with Workday Integrations, Reporting and Analytics, Security, and Studio
- Prior experience developing and/or supporting system integrations
- Prior experience leading complex/multi-department projects
- Understanding of overall HR processes and foundational processes
- Ability to quickly learn concepts and understand process configuration within a system
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and outlook while solving complex situations
Other key requirements
- Workday Global experience preferred
- Business process design and/or process improvement experience preferred (Six Sigma, LEAN)
- Relocation to the Des Moines, IA area is required
