Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support the HR team by managing the ad hoc report request process
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Workday for self-service reporting
  • Test new and existing functionality of calculated fields and reports within Workday
  • Provide cross-functional understanding of data and support in the validation of new and revised reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and develop Reports and Dashboards in Workday.  Meet with others to analyze needs and requirements to provide solutions and recommended approach
  • Review data input and output reporting for accuracy and legal compliance
  • Extract and analyze information for auditing, surveys, organization charts and reporting purposes as needed
  • Create all forms and surveys for compilation of staff, manager, and systems data
  • Monitor and improve data collection and reporting procedures for efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and integrity by performing regular audits, developing best practices, maintaining relevant documentation, and educating end-users.
  • Establish custom report design standards and report monitoring to ensure a consistent, trusted user experience with optimum report performance.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with HR and business partners, technical partners and HRIS functional users to ensure effective delivery of the WD application
  • Maintain awareness of industry standards and leading practices in Workday report design and development.  Collaborate with other organizations in the Workday Community to share knowledge and create and/or adhere to industry best practices.

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Information Systems or related field
  • Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management
  • 3-5 years’ experience in:
    • Workday expertise in modules including WD Report Writer, Calc fields, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Sheets
    • Experience with database tools, including SQL and database modeling experience
    • Reporting tools such as Access and Microsoft PowerBI
    • Basic knowledge of Workday Security as it relates to reporting
